Rachel - Lead Veterinary Technician
Rachel has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2012. Joining the team at Alaska Veterinary Clinic in March 2016, she was promoted to Lead Veterinary Technician in March 2018. She may have been born in Madison, Wisconsin but is Alaskan at heart. She enjoys ocean kayaking in Seward and Homer with her fiancé, Jay, and their two fluffy little dogs, Rocky and Winnie. She also enjoys fishing off her kayak, watching the Green Bay Packers, sport shooting and tenting.
Nora - Licensed Veterinary Technician
Nora joined Alaska Veterinary Clinic in April 2006. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, her special interests are in veterinary anesthesia and patient dentistry. In her free time, Nora enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her two terrier mixes, Lucy and Han.
Lynn - Licensed Veterinary Technician
Lynn is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians, starting at Alaska Veterinary Clinic in May 2013. She started working in the veterinary field in 1998 and surgery has become her favorite area of veterinary medicine. She shares her life with her 18 year old cat, Venus.
Amber - Licensed Veterinary Technician
Amber is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who joined the Alaska Veterinary Clinic team in June 2017. She started in the veterinary field in 2010 and has a passion for anesthesia. She focuses on client education and making every visit fear free. Known as the Cookie Lady, she always has treats for your pets in her pockets. Amber is also pursuing her B.S. in Nursing with a minor in Psychology through the University of Alaska Anchorage. She spends her free time snuggling with her cat, Chevelle Potty Paws.
Brittany - Veterinary Technician
Originally from Virginia, Brittany ventured up to Alaska in April 2013 and has been a part of the Alaska Veterinary Clinic family ever since! She has been working as a trusted veterinary technician since 2012. She tries not to favor any breed but loves when Pugs/Puggles are in the clinic. In her free time, Brittany enjoys exercise and seeks adventure in hiking, skydiving or anything involving her boyfriend and their three fur kids.
Maggie - Veterinary Technician
Maggie loves working with our patients, especially Beagles and Dachshunds. She enjoys educating our clients on puppy/kitten care and the benefits of oral care at home starting at an early age. She is an avid outdoor photographer and hiker and a member of the Oiled Sea Otter Response Team.
Lesley - Veterinary Technician
Lesley has worked as a veterinary technician for over 20 years. She holds an Animal Technology Program AS degree and is a graduate of De Anza-Foothill College in California. Lesley joined the Alaska Veterinary Clinic team in July 2014 and enjoys hiking and fishing in Alaska with her Yorkshire terrier, Piper.
Stacie - Veterinary Technician
Stacie is a veterinary technician who has been with Alaska Veterinary Clinic since January 2011. Originally from Arizona, she has learned to love the snow and the great outdoors.
Gwen - Veterinary Technician
Gwen moved from Pennsylvania where she was born and raised, to Alaska and started at Alaska Veterinary Clinic in December 2016. AVC is her first experience in the veterinary field, but has always loved working as an advocate for animals and aspires to learn more everyday. While she loves all of the animals she sees, the excitable, goofy dogs tend to bring the most joy to her day. Gwen plans to get her dry suit SCUBA diving certification soon to add to her Alaska adventures. Until then, she tries to be out in the woods or on a mountain with her two dogs, Leila and Rupert, and boyfriend John. At home they get love from their spoiled cat, Mina and the coolest aquatic turtle, Beebs. Beebs has his betta fish to watch in a nearby tank as well.
Jaesah - Veterinary Technician
Jaesah started with the Alaska Veterinary Clinic team in December 2017 but her love for animals has been lifelong. A born and raised Alaskan, she was brought up with dozens of sled dogs so her love for Huskies and Malamutes is only natural. Her spare time consists of baking, reading and playing with her nephews and niece.

Effie - Client Care Supervisor
Effie started at Alaska Veterinary Clinic in April 2007. Starting as a ‘Kennel Girl’, she has worked hard to become our Client Care Supervisor but she is also a Certified Veterinary Assistant. She is owned by 3 cats and 1 dog, an Alaskan sized Chihuahua. When she is not at the hospital, she enjoys listening to music and dancing in her free time.
Jenn - Client Care Specialist
Jenn moved to Alaska in 2004 and she LOVES IT! She has worked as a Client Care Specialist at Alaska Veterinary Clinic since June 2014. Jenn’s two amazing dogs are Lola and Missy, two grumpy cats are Scooter and Big Boy, and she has three opinionated parrots, Scarlet, Libby and Jinx. Living in Alaska allows Jenn to enjoy the outdoor pleasures of camping and fishing.
Jordan - Client Care Specialist
Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Jordan is truly Alaskan Grown. She is a Client Care Specialist with Alaska Veterinary Clinic since August 2015. Jordan is owned by three cats, Zaya, Cheddar Bob and Yakuza and a Lab mix named Dixon. She enjoys jewelry making and halibut fishing during the summer.
Adam - Client Care Specialist
Adam joined the Alaska Veterinary Clinic team in August 2016 as a Client Care Specialist. He loves playing the guitar, bass and drums and is involved in the local music scene. He enjoys getting to know our clients and their fur babies and to help deliver the best client service care that we can give. Adam is owned by a cat named, Wallace.
Mayra - Client Care Specialist
Mayra joined Alaska Veterinary Clinic in October 2016 when she moved from Tucson, Arizona. She is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. Mayra loves animals of all different shapes and sizes and has 2 dogs of her own, Tyson, a Pitbull, and Max, a Yorkie-Poo.
Elora - Client Care Specialist
Elora, a born and raised Alaskan, enjoys outdoor adventures along with her camera and dogs by her side. Daisy Mae and Tora Jean are Elora’s adorable and loving mutts whom she spends the majority of her time with. Joining the Alaska Veterinary Clinic in December 2017, Elora looks forward to coming to work everyday to interact with clients and pets alike. She is excited to pursue a life-long career in pet care.
Annamaria - Associate Manager
Joining the Alaska Veterinary Clinic team in August 2008, Annamaria has become our Associate Manager. Her highlight of each day is to cuddle cats and to see our patients’ tails wag! Annamaria is parent to three dogs, all Yorkie mixes, “Beans”, “Edison”, and “Dexter” and a son, Theodore. She loves to sew and quilt as well as roadtrip Alaska with her family in their 1982 VW Vanagon Riviera Camper named, “Meatloaf.” She is a board member and volunteer for Kool Kat Rescue.”
