Amanda

Amanda has been in the veterinary field for 16 years.  Her veterinary career started back in 2007 where she started her first job at a no-kill animal shelter.  Amanda was born & raised in northeastern Pennsylvania on a running dairy farm where her love for animals began.  She grew up working alongside goats, horses, cows, small pocket pets, birds & of course cats & dogs!  She always knew animals were her passion!  Amanda attended San Diego University and graduated with her Bachelor’s in Wildlife Biology.  Aside from helping save animals, Amanda enjoys anything that involves the outdoors, reading, going to the beach, hiking, traveling, and of course spending time with friends, family and her own small farm that consists of a not-so-mini pig named Jelly Bean, a retired racing greyhound named Grim Reaper, a 3 legged rat terrier named Cache, a chorkie named Hazelnut, a rabbit named Waffles, & a cat named Oliver (all rescues, of course!)
