Laurel is a college student majoring in psychology with a focus in behavior analysis. She is a Fear Free Certified Professional and utilizes her knowledge both in and outside the clinic.
Laurel has trained dogs for the past 5 years and has worked in veterinary medicine for the last 3 years. She has a special interest for behavioral cases both in and outside of the clinic.
Laurel loves veterinary medicine because there is always an opportunity to expand her knowledge. No day or patient is ever the same which allows for plenty of new experiences.
Outside of work, Laurel trains dogs in a variety of venues, including service dog work, agility, rally-o, obedience, and bitesports. She is married and lives in Anchorage with her two dogs Ember (Collie) and Kovos (Border Collie).
