Mia moved here from Whitefish, Montana to begin her new journey in Alaska. 

Her mother was in the military and Mia was born in Germany, and have lived in different places around the world. Mia’s mom ended her military career in Hawaii, which is where Mia calls home. After graduating High School, Mia went to Colorado and received her BS at Johnson and Wales University for Culinary Arts and Food Service Management. Besides her mad cooking skills (just kidding), she has always continued to pursue her passion with animals. 

She enjoys pretty much anything involving the outdoors and loves discovering new recipes. You can usually catch Mia exploring the lands with her dog, Georgie, or playing video games and chilling with her cat, Peter Parker (aka Spidercat). 

She is happy to be here, and hopes to spread happiness and help others do the same.
