We take pride in what we do

At Alaska Vet we provide more than just routine vaccines and examinations. We offer diagnostic services including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and referral laboratory services. For those of you who have recently moved to Alaska or will be traveling outside, we offer heartworm testing, certificates of veterinary inspection for travel, and offer parasite prevention for your pets. Beginning with an oral assessment, we will be able to offer you more insight into your pet’s dental health needs.

We offer dentistry treatment plans that include thorough cleanings, digital dental x-rays, and oral surgery procedures for all stages of periodontal disease. We also offer surgical services including spay and neuter procedures, as well as general. We can offer specialty services such as chemotherapy to a patient in need. Our in-house pharmacy is constantly stocked and we carry many veterinary recommended prescription diet foods for your pet. As we listen, evaluate, diagnose, and treat, we keep our clients informed, frequently providing educational materials so that owners can be our partners in providing pet healthcare.
