Dr. Kellie Lindquist

Dr. Lindquist decided to become a veterinarian in order to use her love of science and medicine to provide whole life quality health care to our animal family members who give us unconditional love and companionship.

Dr. Lindquist graduated from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. After spending a year practicing Large and Small Animal Medicine on the Oregon Coast, Dr. Lindquist made the long travel north to Alaska, where she plans to stay! In 2012, Dr. Lindquist joined the team at Alaska Veterinary Clinic and has been happily serving our patients here ever since.

Dr. Lindquist has a strong interest in internal medicine and geriatric medicine. She enjoys helping her patients’ age gracefully and helping provide them with a good quality of life. Dr. Lindquist feels that the patient family and the veterinarian are a team and that together they can make the best decisions for the care of the patient. She feels that education and trust are integral to quality and compassionate care.

Dr. Lindquist also has a strong interest and additional training in many of the integrative medicine modalities, including Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy (chiropractic), and Reiki. Dr. Lindquist believes that by incorporating Western and Eastern medicine modalities, we can offer better treatment options for our beloved pets.

When Dr. Lindquist is not in the clinic helping her patients, she can be found outside enjoying all that Alaska has to offer. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband Tyler, spicy cat Yzma and two crazy dogs (Artemis and Lily), whether that be hiking, bird hunting with her setters, camping, kayaking, snow-machining, or fishing.  When at home, Dr. Lindquist also enjoys sitting in her garden with her happy chickens.
