Rachel has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2012. In 2016 she joined the team at Alaska Veterinary Clinic, as an LVT, and was promoted to Hospital Manager in 2020. 

She may have been born in Madison, Wisconsin but is Alaskan at heart. She enjoys ocean kayaking in Seward and Homer with her husband, Jay, and their fluffy little dog, Ruca; and Naked House Hippos (guinea pigs) Betty and Blanche, and six chickens (Edith, Wil Willis, Wanda, Delores, Fern, and Richard Hammond). 

She also enjoys fishing off her kayak, watching the Green Bay Packers, and tenting.
