Born and raised in Indiana, Steve also lived in Florida for many years before moving to Alaska.  As a kid, he was always bringing home animals to keep as pets. When he made a career change to working in veterinary clinics, it was a perfect fit for him.  

Currently he is a dog and cat dad to Wrigley (a rescued dog) and Boots (rescued as a 4 day old kitten).  

Outside of work, Steve enjoys Alaska through hiking, camping, live music and time with friends.
